Accessibility statement

This statement applies to the online shop smono.shop including the ordering process. The provider is Reinhart GmbH & Co. KG, Charlottenburger Allee 7, 52068 Aachen, Germany.

Level of conformance

We aim to make this online shop accessible in line with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) and its ordinance (BFSGV). The benchmark is EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The shop is partially conformant with these requirements. We are aware of the following points and are working on them.

Content that is not or only partly accessible

  • Font size: On product, category and search result pages some text is rendered at 12 pixels. The content can be enlarged using the browser zoom.
  • Controls on small screens: Some buttons and links fall below the recommended minimum size of 44 × 44 pixels on mobile devices.
  • Alternative text: Some images – mainly decorative tile and layout images – carry no or an empty alternative text.
  • Third-party content: Services embedded in the ordering process, such as the payment provider, are outside our control.

What is already in place

  • Every page has a unique main heading, a visible search and an accessible cart.
  • The shop can be used on narrow screens without horizontal scrolling.
  • All content is available in fifteen languages with correct language markup.

How this statement was prepared

This statement was prepared on 31 August 2026. It is based on a self-assessment with a technical measurement of all publicly reachable pages: we checked the rendering at 1426 and at 390 pixels screen width as well as headings, alternative texts, font sizes and the size of controls.
