When it is time for a replacement
You recognise a clogged screen by the draw, not by its appearance: it gets harder, vapour output drops, the aroma feels flatter. If you vaporize often, you change the screen by feel rather than by calendar — the five replacement screens will last a good while. Replace the mouthpiece itself when residue can no longer be dissolved or when it is damaged.
Cleaning and care
Stainless steel and glass tolerate a bath in isopropyl alcohol: leave the parts to soak until the residue dissolves, then rinse with clean water and let them dry completely before refitting them.
