When it is time for a replacement
Both types of screen clog with resins and fine particles — the draw gets harder, vapour output drops. The oven screens take more strain than those in the mouthpiece area. The maintenance tool is the real key: it gets stuck screens out without bending them or scratching the chamber.
Cleaning and care
Stainless steel and glass tolerate a bath in isopropyl alcohol: leave the parts to soak until the residue dissolves, then rinse with clean water and let them dry completely before refitting them.
